Living Museum
Innovative interactive living heritage museum founded in 2007 in Beypazarı, where visitors actively practice ebru marbling, shadow theatre, and folk crafts.
Operating within the early 20th-century Ali Müderrisoğlu Mansion in Beypazarı, the Living Museum was established on April 23, 2007, by folklorist and educator Dr. Sema Demir.
Pioneering Turkey's experiential museology, the Living Museum invites visitors to participate in living traditions: casting Karagöz shadow puppetry, practicing ebru paper marbling, spinning wool, and listening to folk tales.
