Korean Monument

Monument erected in 1973 in Ulus in partnership with South Korea, commemorating Turkish soldiers who served and fell in the Korean War.

Set within Korea Park along Hipodrom Avenue in Ulus, this memorial was inaugurated in 1973 to honor the valor of the Turkish Brigade in the Korean War (1950–1953) and celebrate Turkish-Korean friendship.

Designed in the form of a traditional Korean tiered pagoda, the base features brass tablets inscribed with the names of fallen Turkish soldiers.
