Kızılcagün Monument
Monument in Dikmen commemorating the momentous welcome of Atatürk by Ankara's Seğmen riders on December 27, 1919.
Located along the Dikmen ridge, this monument commemorates December 27, 1919, when the armed Seğmen cavalry of Ankara gathered to greet Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and pledge their lives to the national resistance.
The sculpture dynamically portrays Atatürk alongside Ankara Mufti Rıfat Börekçi, village elders, and traditional Seğmen riders in a historic moment of national solidarity.
