Güven Monument
Monumental 1935 sculpture in Kızılay Güvenpark designed by Anton Hanak and Josef Thorak, celebrating the strength and security of the young Republic.
Situated in Kızılay Güvenpark, the Security Monument (Güvenlik Anıtı) was sculpted between 1934 and 1935 by Austrian masters Anton Hanak and Josef Thorak.
The monument bears Atatürk’s famous civic motto: 'Turk, Be Proud, Work, Have Confidence'. Its monumental bronze figures and stone bas-reliefs celebrate national unity, agrarian work, security, and modernization.
