Yenimahalle

Home to the 1222 Seljuk Akköprü Bridge, the replica Atatürk House Museum at Forest Farm, and lush metropolitan parks.

Located just 5 km northwest of Ulus, Yenimahalle is home to historic Akköprü (White Bridge), a magnificent 7-arch stone bridge built in 1222 during the reign of Seljuk Sultan Alaeddin Keykubad I along the ancient Baghdad trade highway.

On the centenary of Atatürk's birth, an exact architectural replica of the house in Thessaloniki where Mustafa Kemal was born was constructed inside the Atatürk Forest Farm (AOÇ) and opened to the public as the Atatürk House Museum on May 19, 1981.

The district also features the 75th Year Ankara Racetrack, the vibrant Nazım Hikmet Cultural Centre, and the vast green expanses of the historic Atatürk Forest Farm.
