Living Village

Turkey’s first open-air rural architecture museum in Beypazarı Macun Village, reconstructing traditional village dwellings from all seven regions.

Established across a scenic rural valley in Macun village, Beypazarı, this is Turkey's first comprehensive open-air eco-museum dedicated to vernacular village life.

The museum features life-size reconstructions of vernacular rural dwellings from across Anatolia—such as Black Sea timber serenders, Mediterranean 'buttoned' houses, and mudbrick farmsteads—demonstrating agrarian traditions.
