Atatürk Residence and Railway Museum

Historic 'Direksiyon Building' at Ankara Central Station, which served as Atatürk's residence and headquarters from 1919 to 1921.

Located at the historic Ankara Central Railway Station in Ulus. Built in 1892 during the Baghdad Railway construction, it was Atatürk’s residence and command post upon arriving in Ankara.

Here Atatürk planned the opening of the First Parliament and conducted diplomacy. Outside rests the preserved historic White Train carriage (Beyaz Tren) used by Atatürk during his nationwide tours.
